Reflexión de fin de año en hipsterrunoff.com; Carles, su autor, es el blogger que mejor define lo ondero (hipster). Es la posmodernidad. Es la IRONÍA. Es hipsterrunoff. Un termómetro en la cola del Presente, una cámara digital fotografiando en una sórdida fiesta al Mañana. Un link constante al Ayer.

Es interesante lo que plantea un tal Christian Lorentzen, recogido en la wikipedia en su entrada en inglés sobre lo Hipster:

Lorentzen argues that “hipsterism fetishez the authentic” elements of all of the “fringe movements of the postwar era—Beat, hippie, punk, even grunge,” and draws on the “cultural stores of every unmelted ethnicity” and “gay style”, and then “regurgitates it with a winking inauthenticity” and a sense of irony. He claims that this group of “18-to-34-year-olds”, who are mostly white, “have defanged, skinned and consumed” all of these influences “into a repertoire of meaninglessness”

Consumir con voracidad lo autentico, vomitar pose, y sentirse mal. Una suerte de bulimia conceptual? Por algo Carles termina su post con un grito de ayuda.

El otro día, pasaron unos botijas por donde parábamos unos amigos y yo. Le escuché decir a uno de ellos "pah, son todos floggers acá!". Estábamos en el callejón de la Universidad de La República.
